What We Learn from the Spot Test 

Chevrolet is still keeping quiet about the Chevy Silverado ZR2, but it’s clear the new pickup will be a new and exciting addition to Chevrolet’s truck lineup. A heavy-duty pickup with the off-road capability of the light-duty Silverado ZR2, the 2024 Chevy Silverado is expected to offer both the atmospheric 6.6L V8 L8T gasoline engine and the 6.6L V8 L5P turbodiesel Duramax. 

Along with new updates to the entire 2024 lineup, the ZR2 Silverado will get a host of upgrades that make it more capable for your off-roading adventures. So far, we know the upgrades will include new bumpers for better clearance, skid plates, heavy-duty dampers, and locking front and rear differentials. Along with larger tires, these new parts will improve the pickup’s ground clearance.
